    How do I get audio drivers?

    I’m not so good with computers but I asked someone why I didn’t have sound and they said I needed audio drivers. I just had to redo everything on my computer because my hard drive died. Anyways what would I type in to find them and where do I put them on my computer etc… thanks!

  • If you can’t find the right Audio drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you.     I need help re-installing Drivers onto my computer via usp ports, audio, etc.?

    Okay, my computer has no volume on it and the USB ports are not functioning and when i went to the system and mainiainance part of my control panel into my Device Manager, it was empty, like someone deleted all my drivers and so on…i need to know how to get it back if possible or where i can go to download more..thank you =]

  • Definitely sounds like a driver issue. Did you recently reformat the system? Drivers can be easily downloaded from either the system manufacturer’s website (if you have a brand system, such as a Dell, Sony, Toshiba, etc.) or they can also be found on the manufacturer’s website for each specific component (such as graphics drivers for an ATI card, or Intel drivers for a chipset). If your system doesn’t have a brand manufacturer, try a google or other internet search for specific devices (the Device Manager window should always be displaying at least what hardware you have installed, even if it is missing drivers – if it is completely blank it mean a different problem entirely, such as a motherboard issue)

  • It would help to know the name and model of your computer and your operating system, XP, Vista, 7? Otherwise go to your computer support site and download your missing drivers. Reply to added info. Click on the link below, when the site opens click “start detection” After it`s detected your system it will show your drivers. Click on download driver. If this doesn`t work you may be able to restore factory settings, this will work if you have a restore partition. Turn off computer – Turn back on and immediately start tapping F11 – keep tapping until the options come up. You need to choose restore factory settings or restore factory image. You may need to go into advanced options if it`s not on the first screen.

    Audio drivers on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 OS Biostar A770E3 motherboard not installing?

    I was receiving a BSOD due to stdriver64.sys. I looked up what it was and found out that it was related to audio and windows default drivers. I renamed stdriver64.sys to stdriver64.sys.bak and restarted my computer. BSOD no longer happened but audio also stopped working. I uninstalled my audio drivers and restarted to install those provided by Biostar. Windows reinstalled theirs which didn’t solve the issue so I disabled auto driver update in “Change device installation settings.” I then uninstalled again and restarted and installed the proper drivers. The problem persists and my audio is still not working. Computer specs: Biostar A770E3 Motherboard AMD x4 840 Processor 3X2GB Kingston HyperX 1333mhz DDR3 RAM Seagate 160GB HDD w/Windows 7 Ultimate x64 installed Hitachi 1TB HDD XRF Radeon HD6450 Graphics card 600W Power supply If anymore information is needed just ask. I REALLY need to solve this problem.
